We use air dry clay, you take the plate home with a provide plate, it dries for a week and then I send you home with a pot of varnish to finish it off a week later.
Approximately one week. Leave the pot out of the way on a shelf or alike, also out the way of small hands and out of direct sunlight as it will turn yellowish. It will go dark to light and when fully pale grey you’re good to paint/varnish.
You absolutely can. Paint it first before varnish, you may need to do a few layers as clay is porous. Use any emulsion ester pots, acrylic or spray paint. Allow to dry and varnish. Ta-Daaa. Left unpainted they are a pale grey concrete type of colour.
Around 2 hours to 2.5 hours.
Yes you absolutely can, they look wonderful with green plants in. You must pot up your plant in a separate pot, water and drain it then pop it in your boobie pot. Alternatively use them for pens, toothbrushes, make up brushes etc.
Yes I do, I am happy to travel within reason. The price per person would increase and there would be a minimum party number set dependant on location. But yeah, I have travelled to do workshops at Air B&B’s for hen parties and baby showers.
Absolutely not, washes out every time and gel nails survive perfectly.
Yes, you have the choice of a willy or a boobie pot!
No way, José! No previous experience needed and you’ll be so fine, promise.
Oh, a question I am asked a lot! Nope - please leave your clothes on!!!
We use a technique called slab building which is all handwork. I sit with you, we all make our pots together step by step and I'll help you if you need. I will always ensure you go home with a boobie pot that will stay together.
The minimum locally to Bedford is 6 people, further a field, the minimum number would increase the further a field the party is. This can be enquired via a booking enquiry form.
No sorry, I’ve decided to stick with adults only.
